Reproduction, 1 page. Statement of authenticity, written and signed by Eliza P. Custis, dated at Washington on July 4th 1830, regarding a trunk given to her by her brother George Washington Parke Custis that had been used by her grandmother, Martha Washington, and accompanied her each winter when she joined the General at his winter quarter during the Revolution.
