Ann Pamela Cunningham (secretary) to Mary Rutledge Fogg, undated (032)
Scope and Contents
Draft letter in writing of a secretary. Says she appreciates the help of the "brilliant orator from Tennesee" but cannot commit to having him perform around the country. She would need the backing of people in all cities around the country and she does not have that much influence. Even Edward Everett has had trouble filling seats in his lectures. If the lectures failed, it would look bad for the Association. She goes on to describe fundraising efforts. ER-10, p. 131. Undated 032.
