A.L.S. Philadelphia. Understands he is now the only person in charge of money for Mount Vernon. Asks if the bank will honor a check for her salary signed by the Regent. Does not know when she will return to Mount Vernon because the Regent's plans are so uncertain. Asks him to forward the manuscript Minutes of last Council to her. ER-16, p. 49
