A.L. Incomplete. Incomplete letter. Her report is a review of improvements at Mount Vernon under the Regent. She believes Regent has acted in good faith and would be fatal to make known to public that Council is divided in its opinions of how to proceed. Must straighten affairs there, retain Miss Cunningham in her position, but strip her of power. ER-5, p. 155
