Contributions come in steadily from Ledger articles and he will try to give recognition to subscriptions of less than $1. Phil. Engine Co. gives $25. Comments on VRs' deputies. Wishes J.A. Washington would give up estate-it would cancel much unfavorable opinion re his terms to MVLA. Note says he will see her in Philadelphia. ER-9, p. 225
