He has accounting of money collected at Mount Vernon, papers belonging to Miss Cunningham, appropriation for her while living away from Mount Vernon. Hopes for contribution from Masons. Judge Thomas, a senator (Alexandria resident), on committee to visit Mount Vernon when Council meets, and Governor promises to be there. Public to be made aware that Association invited the investigation. Note re vouchers for June payments....
